Self build consultations

We know that while starting your own self build campervan is exciting, it can be a daunting task, which is why we’re now pleased to offer full or half day self build consultations.

With 10 years experience in all things campervan between us, we’re more than prepared to answer all those burning questions you’ve got!

We’ve carried out a wide range of builds, from tiny homes on wheels, with showers, log burners, ovens and luxury dog beds, to fold out car campers, so whatever sort of conversion you’re looking for, we’re here to help!

Recommended products (we are able to offer trade discounts on several of the big ticket electrical items to our consultancy clients, which can often fully off set the cost of your consultation day!)

How does the consultation work?

Head to our workshop in the Hope Valley, with your van (if you have one!) and all the questions about your conversion you can think of!

We’ll start the day getting to know you and your campervan plans over a cup of tea.

Then we can think about layouts and design, before moving on to looking at any practical tasks which are concerning you.

We can offer practical advice and demonstrations, as well as help working out what specifications of various parts will suit your needs (and budget) best.

We’ll tailor the day to you, depending on where you’ve got to with your conversion plans.

Once you’ve left we’ll follow up with a summary of what we’ve discussed, and a guide to recommended products specifically for your conversion.

We also include 2 half hour video calls to catch up with you further along your conversion journey, and give you the chance to ask more questions as you reach any challenging steps in your conversion. You can schedule these anytime in the 12 months after your in person meeting.

Our full days run from 10am-4pm and start from £350

Half days run from 1pm-4pm £250

We know that there are often a few tasks that you just want to hand over to the experts for, often these include window or skylight fitting or gas work. You’ll be able to add these on to your booking, either on the same day for smaller jobs (e.g. one or 2 windows) or on a separate day for larger jobs.
